Add the Candy Rack block to your Shopify order details page, and you can see what Candy Rack contributed to any order, the items it added, and the offer behind each one, without leaving the order.
Add the block to your orders
In your Shopify admin, go to Orders and open an order.
Scroll down to the Blocks section.
Click + Block and select Candy Rack.
The block only appears on orders that contain at least one item added by Candy Rack.
What you’ll see
The Candy Rack block shows:
Incremental sales — the total Candy Rack contributed to this order, after upsell discounts. Hover over the info icon for details. The upsold amount and the discounts are shown underneath, so the number adds up. For example: $7,364.75 upsold, minus $62.49 in discounts.
Added by Candy Rack — the number of items Candy Rack added, followed by one row per item with its thumbnail, product title, variant details, and price.
Placement — a badge showing where the customer saw the offer, for example Product page / Embedded block (Checkbox), Cart / Line item offer (Slide cart), or Checkout / Embedded block.
Offer name — shown next to the badge as a link that opens that offer in Candy Rack Analytics. Every row has its own link, because one order can include items from several offers.
Things to know
Why don’t I see the block on an order?
Check these first:
Block not added — add it from the Blocks section of the order, as described above.
No upsells — the order doesn’t contain items added by Candy Rack. The block stays hidden instead of displaying $0.00.
Order placed before the release — the block isn’t shown on orders placed on or before 17 September 2026.
What happens if an order is refunded?
Incremental sales are attributed when the order is placed, and later refunds aren’t deducted. The amount in the block stays the same even if you refund the order afterwards.
Why is the amount lower than the price of the upsold items?
The headline shows incremental sales net of upsell discounts. The line underneath shows the upsold total and the discounts, so you can see how the figure was calculated. Learn how upsell discounts work in Discounts.
Are post-purchase upsells included?
Yes. Items a customer adds after checkout are listed in the block like any other upsold item, with the offer name and placement next to them.
How else can I tell which items came from Candy Rack?
The block is the quickest way, and it labels the items in plain language. Candy Rack also marks these orders with an candyrack order tag.
Why do I see a Show more button?
Shopify collapses any admin block taller than 300 px behind Show more. Click it to expand the block. Shopify limits how tall an expanded block can be, so on orders with a very long list of upsold items, the end of the list may be cut off, and Shopify may show a “This Block is too tall” warning. You can always check the order’s line items for the full picture.
Does the block show my store-wide results?
No, it only shows what Candy Rack contributed to the order you’re viewing. For totals such as incremental sales, average order value, and top-performing offers, open Analytics in Candy Rack. Our guide How to use Analytics explains each metric.
