If you need to prevent an invoice from being created for a specific order or a customer, add the tag fakturoid-no-invoice to that order/customer in Shopify. The app will skip automatic invoice creation for any order/customer with this tag.
Important: timing matters
The tag must be added before the invoice is generated. To give yourself enough time to edit the order, we recommend setting an invoice creation delay of a few minutes in the app's General Settings.
Automating this with Shopify Flow
If you need to regularly exclude certain types of orders or customers, you can automate the tagging using Shopify Flow. Set up a Flow automation that adds the fakturoid-no-invoice tag to any orders or customers that match your criteria — for example, orders containing a specific product or orders paid with a gift card.
Creating the invoice manually
If an order has this tag but you still need an invoice for it, you can always create it manually at any time.
