Embedded upsells are a less intrusive way to upsell to your customers compared to pop-ups. Candy Rack's embedded upsell offers come with a variety of features and customization options.
Embedded (checkbox) offers on the Product page
This type of placement allows you to offer additional products on the product page, letting customers select their preferred items with checkboxes.
You can choose between two different options for adding selected upsells to the cart in the Candy Rack app block settings within the Theme editor:

Store button
Ideal for bundling upsells with the main product on the product page. When an upsell is selected, it’s added to the order when the customer clicks the main Add to Cart button.
💡 We recommend placing the upsell block directly above the Add to Cart button to create a clear user experience, so customers understand how to add upsells to their cart.
App button
If you prefer to place upsell blocks lower on the page, independently from the main Add to Cart button, it’s recommended to activate the app’s own Add to Cart button for upsells by selecting the App button option.
Preselected upsells (bundles)
Embedded upsells with checkboxes offer a unique feature to easily bundle products for your customers. With this feature, you can now have upsell products preselected on product pages, allowing customers to add them to their cart with a single click as a bundle.
Customers can still deselect any items they don’t want.
This option can be activated individually for each embedded offer in the Additional Settings section of the offer configuration.

Embedded (button) offers on the Product page
The button layout is similar to the checkbox layout but differs in how products are added to the cart. With the button layout for embedded offers on the product page, each upsell product will have its own "Add" button, allowing customers to add items to their cart individually by clicking the button.
This layout is ideal for promoting extras that aren’t directly related to the main product but that you still want to highlight on the product page with lower prominence.
