Setpilot is a profit analytics app for Shopify merchants. It connects to your store, pulls in your orders, products, shipping, payments, and ad spend, and turns all of that into a clear picture of what your business is actually earning — not just revenue, but real profit after every cost.
Who Setpilot is for
Setpilot is built for DTC Shopify stores that have outgrown the default Shopify analytics and need a true P&L view — one that accounts for product costs, shipping, payment fees, marketing spend, and overheads — without manually assembling spreadsheets every month.
What you get
A full P&L dashboard broken down by day, country, and sales source.
Contribution Margin waterfall (CM1 to CM4) so you know exactly where your margin lives and where it leaks.
Flexible cost setup — product costs, shipping, payment fees, order processing, marketing, and other overheads — with time-windowed historical accuracy.
Ad platform connectors for Facebook/Meta, Google Ads, and Axon — spend syncs automatically.
Inventory analytics — stock status, days of inventory left, and velocity per variant.
API access and AI integration via API keys and an MCP server for Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT.
How Setpilot gets your data
Setpilot installs directly into your Shopify admin. Once you grant access, it imports your orders and products, subscribes to webhooks for new orders, and runs a transformation pipeline every hour to keep your dashboard up to date. You can also trigger a manual sync at any time.
Next steps
If you have not installed the app yet, start with Installing Setpilot on your Shopify store. If you are already installed, head to Your first setup to complete the initial import and configure your costs.
