Every app on the Shopify App Store has a unique numeric identifier. PartnerJam uses your App ID — together with your Partner ID and Partner API token — to confirm that the app you're pairing belongs to you and to scope attribution to just that app.
It's one of the details you'll need when pairing an app with PartnerJam.
How to find it
1. Log in to your Shopify Partner account.
2. Go to the Apps section and click the app you want to pair with PartnerJam.
3. Check the URL in your browser.
Your App ID is the numeric part of the URL (for example: https://partners.shopify.com/1234567/apps/98765432/overview — the App ID is 98765432). Copy that number and paste it into PartnerJam when prompted.
What we use it for
PartnerJam only uses your App ID to scope attribution to the specific app you're pairing. Because Shopify's Partner API token can't be limited to a single app, the App ID is how we make sure we only read data for apps you've explicitly paired with us — not everything in your Partner organization.
