Shopify only allows the pickup point selector to be embedded directly in checkout for stores on Shopify Plus. For everyone else, the selector appears on the Order Status (Thank You) page after the order is placed.
This is the standard setup for most stores using Zásilkovna | Packeta, and it works well in practice.
That said, there are a couple of simple things you can do to make the experience seamless for your customers.
1. Add a note to your shipping method name
Let customers know upfront that they'll choose their pickup point after checkout. You can edit your shipping method name directly in Shopify Admin → Settings → Shipping and delivery. Something like "You'll select your pickup point after checkout" sets the right expectations before the customer even clicks "Place order."
2. Enable automatic email reminders
In the app settings, you can turn on automatic reminder emails that are sent 15–75 minutes after an order is placed — but only if the customer hasn't selected a pickup point yet. The email content is customizable.
With these two things in place, the vast majority of customers select their pickup point without any issues.
