When you create your first upsell offer on the product page(s), an app block needs to be added to the product page settings in your theme.
How to add Candy Rack app blocks to your theme
To do this, follow the steps below or watch the video:
Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
Select the Products template from the drop-down menu at the top.
Click the + Add block button in the Product information section, switch to the Apps tab, and select one of Candy Rack's Product page blocks.
We recommend placing the Product page (Checkbox) app block above the Buy Buttons element, as this placement uses the Add to Cart button on the product page to add upsells to the cart.
Now, you should see Candy Rack's app block in your theme editor:
Customization options for Product page app blocks
Candy Rack app blocks can be customized with various options on the right side when you click on the Product page (Checkbox) or Product page (Button) app blocks.
For example, you can change texts, such as Title, Subtitle, Show More / Show Less buttons and others:
Additionally, you can adjust the Image size of the upsell product and set the Maximum products to show without collapsing under the Show More button.
If elements such as buttons, selectors, and others have rounded corners, you can also edit the Corner radius, which will adjust the entire layout of the block accordingly.
You can also configure how the upsells are added to the cart - either by using the Add to cart button that is separate for the app block (App button) or by attaching the upsells to the main product and adding them to the cart together (using the Store button).
Lastly, there's an option to change the Colors based on your preference or adjust the padding at the top and bottom.
