Good UX and design of not only your store itself but also all elements and apps in it create a vital part of your customers' experience. Candy Rack allows you to customize its looks and messages in order to adjust the app to your needs. Let's talk about all the options available in the app.
Extra Elements
If you need to share more information about the upsells or the campaign with your customers but the main title of the pop-up doesn't suffice, you can enable the 'Show subtitle' feature to display an extra line of text under the title.
By default, Candy Rack contains two buttons that customers can use to exit the pop-up - Close (X) button and Continue button. If you wish to add one more button with a specific action, you can activate the 'Show "No, Thank You" button'.
Button Actions
Candy Rack enables you to control the actions of the buttons in it. You can choose where these buttons should lead your customers:
Use theme settings - respects the setup of your Theme and copies the behavior of the Add to Cart button. Wherever the Add to Cart buttons in your store are supposed to take the customers, that's what the Add/Upgrade/Continue/Close/No, thank you buttons with the "Use theme settings" action selected in Candy Rack will do.
Go to Cart - will take customers to the cart page
Go to Checkout - will take customers straight to checkout
Stay on page - no redirect, the customer will remain on the page where the parent product was added to the cart
Keep pop-up open - default setting for the Add/Upgrade buttons. Upsells are added to the cart and customers can add other upsells or leave the pop-up using the Continue, Close, or No, thank you buttons.
Exception: if you're using the Upgrade (true upsell) feature, please note that if the customer decides to add the true upsell to the cart and hits the Continue/Close button, they will always be redirected to the cart page. This flow is vital in order to avoid any technical issues. If you indeed need a specific setup for Upgrades, our team should be able to customize this flow for you, so don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Pop-Up views
If you don't want your customers to be bothered by the pop-ups after each add-to-cart, you can limit the number of pop-up views for each session.
Colors
Call-to-action buttons are extremely important in order to catch your customers' attention. You can select any background color, text color, and even border styles to either match your storefront styles or simply make the CTA more prominent.
Custom wording
Great copy sells. Whether you want the pop-up to communicate in the same style as you do in the storefront or just use some catchy phrases to make the upsells more attractive, you can customize any text strings within the pop-up.
You can change the title that appears on the top of the pop-up window, the Add to Cart button and its message once the product has been added, the Upgrade button and its message once the product has been upgraded, the Continue to cart button, and the Discount info displayed on the cart page (when a discount is applied).
