If you use Payster to send payment reminders, you may notice that Cash on Delivery (COD) orders are also being tagged with Payster and customers receive reminders to pay — even though COD orders should not receive any payment notifications.
This guide explains how to prevent that by creating a simple Shopify Flow automation.
How to Set It Up
1. Open Shopify Admin → Apps → Shopify Flow
2. Create a new workflow
3. Set the trigger: Order created
4. Add a condition:
If payment method equals Cash on Delivery
5. Add an action: Wait → set to 1 minute
6. Add another action: Add order tag
Tag to add: payster off
7. Save and activate the workflow
