When you create your first upsell offer for checkout or Thank you/Order status pages, an app block needs to be added through your checkout editor.
How to add Candy Rack app blocks to your Thank you and Order status pages
Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
Select the Checkout and customer accounts template from the drop-down menu at the top.
Select the Thank you page.
Go to the Apps section (third icon in the left bar) and add Candy Rack's Post-purchase upsell offer app block to the Thank you page and Save the changes.
App block was successfully added.
Select the Order status page
Go to the Apps section (third icon in the left bar) and add Candy Rack's Post-purchase upsell offer app block to the Order status page and Save the changes.
App block was successfully added.
Customization options
Optionally, you can customize your app block with your own text or set the number of upsell products to display before collapsing (Maximum products to show), ensuring they don’t take up too much space on your checkout page.
It's also possible to choose the way customers add their upsells to orders by changing the layout of the app block:
Button layout - allows to add only one upsell product the order (customer is redirected to the payment right after the click on the Add button)
Checkbox layout - customers can select multiple upsell products and add them to the order at once

💡 This placement is only available for Shopify Plus stores due to limitations of the Shopify platform.
